What: A one-week summer session where youth will learn sneaker upcycling and customizing.
Who: Young creatives (ages 15-22) who are passionate about design and hands-on making. No experience needed!
Why: Sneakers are more than just shoes—they’re a canvas for creativity and craftsmanship - and there are established techniques to keep them fresh, fun and in good condition. Students will learn about sneaker culture and sustainable design.
How: Participants will bring their own shoes and work with donated ones to learn a variety of customizing techniques, sewing, basic pattern-making and repair, sneaker de/construction and resoling, plus more from our experienced instructors.
